Hugh Hefner asked Sarah Palin to pose for PLAYBOY if she doesn't get elected as Vice President. He's convinced the magazine will fly off the shelves if she agreed. Hefner tells OK! magazine, "Palin would make a great centerfold. I don't know what it is, but there's something about a really sexy-looking woman wearing glasses. Imagine what she's like when those glasses come off. It would be a new definition of the word vice in vice president."
Here's Sarah Palin, #22. She ran the point for the Wasilla Warriors as they won the state championship in 1982.

Yesterday Matt Bryant, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers kicker kicked 3 field goals as well as the game winner a day after burying his 3-month-old son in Texas. The Buccaneers beat the Green Bay Packers 30-21 on Sunday.

"I don't know what I needed today," Bryant said. "It worked out OK. Could've been better, but given the circumstances it turned out OK."

Bryant’s youngest son was found dead Wednesday in Tampa Bay. The investigators have yet to find what the cause was for his death. He didn't practice all week, and Coach Jon Gruden left it up to him to decide if he wanted to play.

"The biggest thing for me, I wanted to honor Tryson's name," Bryant said. "I mean, I don't think it was very fair for his life to end so short. This is the best way I believe I could get out and honor him. I miss him and wish he was here, but he was here with me. He helped out." "Today was his day. It was all about Tryson for me. I talked with him, personally, in my head throughout the game. I just wanted to remind him that he's my baby boy and that he's with me all the time."

Obviously, he got the game ball and not only did he win the game this week, he kicked the game winner in OT last week against the Chicago Bears. This man shows a lot of heart and strength. He’s one of the best in the business.

Wall Street ended a stunning RECORD setting, 777.68 point drop — after the failure of the House vote on the financial bailout bill plan earlier today. The DOW started declining as the vote was shown on television this afternoon. Investors fled to the relative safety of credit markets, worrying that the financial system would continue to sink under the weight of failed mortgage debt. Plenty of credit markets remain closed and shut down as many banks are too afraid to lend, including loans to other bank branches. The DOW closed the day down 777.68 points, -6.89%, beating its previous record set on the first trading day after the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks. Still, in percentage terms, the decline remained well below the more than 20% drops seen on Black Monday of October 1987 and at the beginning of the DEPRESSION.

Many people today on Wall Street thought that the financial bailout bill would ultimately pass, but it didn't. Investors faced other worries about the banking system. Wachovia became the latest big bank to be rescued from its overwhelming bad mortgage debt, agreeing to a federally brokered buyout of its banking operations by Citigroup Inc.

Crude oil fell $11.39 to $95.50 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange as investors feared that a worsening economy would slice into energy demand. If the decline holds, it would be oil’s largest EVER one-day drop.

Wall Street is also worried about overall sluggishness in the world’s economy. In the U.S., for example, unemployment now sits at a FIVE-YEAR HIGH at 6.1%. That rate is expected to increase, perhaps putting further pressure on consumer spending, which accounts for more than two-thirds of the nation’s economic activity.

With all of the good jobs moving overseas and everything being made in China, the economy will fall even more. Most of the factories and production plants are being shipped overseas. With most of EVERYTHING being made in China for pennies, the Chinese will be in control of everything and will probably be in control of the entire import/export world. They will regulate the cost of anything being sold/ made and can jack the price up 50% more than actual value. Ultimately, it will be up to them. If we don't have the money then don't spend it.

ISN'T THIS SUPPOSED TO BE A CAPITALIST COUNTRY NOT A COMMUNIST ONE???

Travis Barker & Adam Goldstein "DJ AM" were critically burned and injured in a Learjet crash late Friday night that killed 4 other people onboard. Hours after performing for thousands of South Carolina University college students, the plane hurtled off the end of the runway and crashed through antennas and a fence. It came to rest on an embankment across a five-lane highway and was engulfed in flames. One witness said, he saw two people thrown out of the plane and were on fire, they were patting each other down and taking off their clothes as they were on fire trying to survive.

Barker and Goldstein were taken to a burn center in Augusta, Ga., about 75 miles southwest of Columbia. Two other passengers — Chris Baker, 29, of Studio City, Calif., and Charles Still, 25, of Los Angeles — died, as did pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31, of Anaheim Hills, Calif., and co-pilot James Bland, 52, of Carlsbad, according to the South Carolina county coroner. Baker was an assistant to Barker and still was a security guard for the musician.

Barker and Goldstein had performed together under the name TRVSDJ-AM at the free concert in Columbia on Friday night. Event sponsor T-Mobile said their hour-long set ended at about 7:15 p.m. The show, which included performances by former Jane’s Addiction singer Perry Farrell and singer Gavin DeGraw, drew 10,000 people into the streets of Five Points, the neighborhood near the University of South Carolina.

This is so crazy, our hope and prayers are with all of them...

WHERE WAS THIS WHEN I WAS A KID?!!

The "Polygon Playground" is a large scale interactive playground for kids. It allows the space for about 40 kids to walk, sit, explore and play on its multifaceted surfaces. Gradient ramps guide the kids to the top of the mountain. The installation and creation features a software aided 3-D surface projection that gives the polygon a 360 degree picture. A sensory system detects where kids are at on the polygon and their proximity at all times.

The visual presence of the "Polygon Playground" changes continuously as kids move around and touch the polygon. The polygon detects the positions and directions of the kid’s movements and change moods and graphic styles.

THIS PLAYGROUND IS WAY DOPE!!!!
