Agent Zero, A.K.A Gilbert Arenas is hurt once again!!! The Washington Wizards won't get the $111 million player for the first month of the NBA season. Arenas had surgery today to clear out loose matter in the left knee that he had previously undergone surgery twice on. He's not expected to return to action until December of this year.

Arenas just signed a new contract this past off-season, six-years, $111 million following last season which had problems with his knee which limited him to only 13 regular-season games, and forced him to call it quits after four games into the NBA playoffs.

Arenas averaged 19 points in his 13 games last season, and scored 24 in the first playoff game. "I just had some floating debris in there that was slowing me down," Arenas told The Washington Post. "It was irritating the knee, so we decided to go in there and clean it out. This should actually allow me to come back faster," Arenas said.

The Wizards finished with a 43-39 record last season and were the 5th seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs without having Arenas' services for most of the season.

With Arenas making $177,000 per game this season, it's an expensive experiment, but will the new contract prevail later in the season??? Time shall see....
