MaNnY rAmIrEz TrAdEd!

As the MLB 4p.m. trade deadline approached, there were a lot of big name players on the trading block. 3 for sure future Hall of Famers were traded today. Pudge Rodriguez traded to the Yankees, Ken Griffey Jr. traded to the White Sox, and Manny being Manny.

Manny Ramirez got traded to the LA Dodgers in a 3-way team trade that included the Red Sox, Dodgers and Pirates. The Red Sox got outfielder Jason Bay, Pirates got reliever Craig Hansen and outfielder Brandon Moss from Boston and also received Andy LaRoche and Bryan Morris from the Dodgers. Manny being Manny will arrive in Hollywood for fridays game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

I think this was a huge win for the LA Dodgers and Joe Torre, but a huge loss for the RED SOX NATION. Manny Ramirez was probably one of the best players on the team and they got rid of him because of his attitude and other problems.

I MEAN, WHO CATCHES A FLYOUT, CLIMBS THE WALL, HIGH FIVES A RED SOX FAN, JUMPS BACK DOWN AND THROWS FOR ANOTHER OUT??? THAT’S JUST FAKE AND UN-HUMAN. YOU DONT DO THAT IN THE LEAGUE, UNLESS YOU’RE THAT GOOD.

If the Red Sox organization would of talked it out with him and re-negotiated the positives and negatives, I’m sure they could of came to a resolution and or agreement. You just don’t give up +500 home runs, 1672 RBI’s and a .312 career batting avg. like that for another regular outfielder. Manny was in the middle of the batting order where he belongs and you get rid of him for WHO again?!?!?! Just doesn’t make sense. Ramirez makes $20 million a year, but you bring in a player that makes a 4th of what he does. Don’t get me wrong the salary cut will be good, but here goes the downward spiral to a fall of the RED SOX NATION for a LONG time coming. Have fun NOT making the playoffs this year RED SOXS!!!!!
