PiErCe BeTtEr ThAn KoBe?!

After winning the NBA Finals, Paul Pierce recently attended a 3-day basketball camp in Madrid. A Spanish reporter asked him this question “Q: Is Kobe really the best player in the world? Pierce: I don’t think Kobe is the best player. I’m the best player. There’s a line that separates having confidence and being conceited. I don’t cross that line but I have a lot of confidence in myself.”

Pierce is the biggest hypocrite if he says that he’s not being conceited, he makes the comment that he’s the best player in the world instead of Kobe, but in his eyes and words that’s not being conceited, that’s being confident. Don’t get me wrong he’s a damn good player; 16.4 ppg and 6.3 rpg at his 3 years at Kansas, 10th overall pick in the ‘98 NBA draft, NBA All-Rookie First Team, 6-time NBA All-Star, 1-time NBA Finals MVP and Champion, but answer these questions Paul….

WHY DO YOU ONLY HAVE A SINGLE RING ON YOUR FINGER AND KOBE HAS THREE?? HOW COME YOUR HIGHEST SCORING GAME IS 31 POINTS FEWER THAN KOBE’S HIGHEST?? HOW ARE YOU THE BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD, BUT YOU HAVE 0 SCORING TITLES AND KOBE HAS 2?? WHY AREN’T YOU ON THE USA OLYMPIC TEAM? (After all, the Olympics are competeting against other countries in the WORLD which determines who’s the BEST IN THE WORLD. Just doesn’t make sense.) WHY IS KOBE AN 8-TIME ALL DEFENSIVE SELECTION AND YOU HAVE A GIANT GOOSE EGG??

As you can see by example, in any major sports, DEFENSE wins Championships and this year the Celtics obviously had the most dominant defensive player in the league with the “Big Ticket.” Play some defense for crying out loud Paul Pierce and stop crying about your knee. You don’t need a wheelchair to walk it off and come back a few minutes later in the game… If you’re going to be the best player in the world at least represent your country and play for the USA Olympic team. Kobe is better than you, LeBron is better than you, T-Mac is better than you and last, but not least, your own teammates KG and Jesus Shuttlesworth are better than you!

One last comment. Why on September 25, 2000, did you get stabbed 11 times in the face, neck and back while you were at the BUZZ Club in Boston? I know a World Class athlete and the “”BEST”" player in the world didn’t get stabbed for nothing by minding his own business. I know you have bodyguards and an entourage. What really happened that night?
