The "Polygon Playground" is a large scale interactive playground for kids. It allows the space for about 40 kids to walk, sit, explore and play on its multifaceted surfaces. Gradient ramps guide the kids to the top of the mountain. The installation and creation features a software aided 3-D surface projection that gives the polygon a 360 degree picture. A sensory system detects where kids are at on the polygon and their proximity at all times.
The visual presence of the "Polygon Playground" changes continuously as kids move around and touch the polygon. The polygon detects the positions and directions of the kid’s movements and change moods and graphic styles.
